When everything around me and
In me reminds me of you?
My brother, how can I forget you?
How can I forget,
When the water I bath in
Reminds me of the rivers you used to fish in
And the tears I shed at your funeral?
How can I forget,
When the food I eat
Reminds me of the meals we had together
And of the last meal you had?
How can I forget,
When the road I travel in
Reminds me of our morning exercises
And of the road to your funeral?
How can I forget,
When the people I meet look like you
When some share your name and
When some ask me about you?
How can I forget,
When the songs I hear,
Remind me of how you loved music
And of the music that was played at your funeral?
How can I forget,
When the clock by my bed
Reminds me of the good times we had
And of the time you were given in this world?
How can I forget,
When I see your photo everyday,
When I always dream about you,
When I see your room at home?
My brother, how can i forget about you!
