Patience is knowing that you smile
That your hugs are worth while.
Its that goofy grin that you wear when you sing along to 'th streets'.
When things get tough, I look to you
And though you are well out of tune
You blaze through ' the hardest part'.
Patience is the way you stare
The way your essence lingers
when you're not here.
Its that not-looking-thing
That gets me tickled.
How you sometimes look my way by mistake
The tiniest grin is all it would take.
Patience is, looking back at all those silly moments and realising that maybe you were looking beyond me.
Behind me,perhaps,is where your eyes wandered.
Patience is, not giving up
Even when the truth is clear
Patience is, waiting for a sign
But signs from you are so hard to come by.
Patience.
The truth is, I dont know what patience is.
I think.
I'm running out of patience.
