Children contemplating suicide,
Their pride devoured in every mind,
Children imprisoned,
Captured for crying freedom aloud,
Praising their nation till they died,
Torture, pain, hunger and frustration
they faced everyday,
Toy toying in the streets as they
swore to abide,
Wishing righteousness to those who
deprived,
As they cursed till the end of time,
Imagine,
The hatred amplified inside,
Suffering through humanity in our land,
Living a miracle of forgiveness non
better than this,
Praise the spirits of freedom
as they rest in peace.
